ABOUT

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

We believe physical fitness and sports form the foundation of the healthy development of children and teenagers. The school provides formal training in a variety of indoor and outdoor games such as badminton volleyball, basketball, chess, carrom, kho-kho, kabbadi, etc. To further foster the spirit of team building and healthy competitiveness, students are divided into four different houses: Chandrashekhar Azad, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi.

ABOUT

YOGA

Yoga is one of the main activities practised at school and it forms an essential part of the students’ daily routine. Students are taught Surya Namaskar, meditation and other asanas. These skills enable students to enhance their self-awareness, self-management, self-efficacy and help them in building essential life skills by drawing connections from their daily lives. Our students participate in various intra-school and inter-school competitions, which help to inculcate a sense of team building and promote healthy competition.

ABOUT

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

All the extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are organised at School with an aim to incite a passion of relentless learning in students and provide them with a fun and engaging way to learn, discover, and innovate. The following activities are conducted at the school to help students:

Art & Culture :

Creative art forms like drama, visual arts, fancy dress, music, drawing & painting, storytelling, and essay writing competitions are organised periodically with the goal of encouraging students to develop an eccentric, open-minded thinking process and to enable them to think outside the box.

Volunteer Work and Community Service :

Giving back to the community is a big part of a child’s character and emotional development. The school realizes it and encourages students to actively participate in these events and learn the importance of kindness and charity through the experience.

Debate Competitions :

Students are motivated to join debate teams and engage in constructive discussions about current affairs. These events help students think critically and overcome their fear of speaking out on public platforms.

Science Exhibitions :

We realize that students are the innovators and scientists of tomorrow and are dedicated to feeding their curiosity with science exhibitions. Through these events, we encourage students to discover and learn topics that fall outside the yearly scholastic curriculum.
