FOUNDER

Smt. Rajkumari Chaturvedi

Smt. Rajkumari Chaturvedi, inspired by the lessons of selflessness and kindness imparted by her Guru Gurudev Sant Shri Nandlal, had a strong desire to build a school to provide equal opportunity in education to students from all sections of the society. She believed educating young minds helps them become self-reliant throughout their lives and create a better world for all, since education is the most important step towards an egalitarian society.

With this visionary philosophy, Smt. Chaturvedi donated a piece of land in the Palam area in Delhi. With financial and emotional support from other women, she laid the foundation stone of SSNLSVMS on May 29, 1984.
She took the responsibility of supervising the construction of the school while working full-time at RBI. Thanks to her sincerity and dedication, the construction of the school was completed in a short span of time and was inaugurated on 11th January 1985 by nine-year-old Rahul Saraf.

Mahamandeleshwar Swami Raghavanand Ji, M.A., Vedantacharya

Swami ji is a well known saint. He is the head of Guru Ram Rai Udasin Ashram and has been the mentor and the principal advisor of the school since its foundation.
Under his able guidance and leadership, the school has flourished over the past three and a half decades. He was instrumental in the affiliation of the school to Vidya Bharti Samarth Siksha Samiti. Under Swamiji’s guidance, school has prepared a teaching methodology which is a balanced combination of physical, moral, and spiritual education.

Late Shri Sahib Singh Verma Ex. Chief Minister of Delhi, Ex. Education Minister - Delhi Assembly. He has closely guided the school management committee. He was a sincere and great leader and his active participation in school events helped keep the foundation of the school’s values strong. He regularly kept in touch with the school and its management committee. His administrative and financial support to the school is commendable and memorable.

Late Shri Raghuvir Singh Hudda He was a great educationist who provided invaluable guidance and under his leadership, the school got the status of recognition by the Directorate of Education, Delhi.

Late Sushree Vimla Bali She was the treasurer of the school since its foundation. Despite her age, she would personally visit government offices. With her strong convincing approach and commitment, she continued to selflessly serve the School till her last breath. School will always be indebted to Sushree Bali for the current financial viability and self-sustainability.

Late Shri Brij Mohan Sethi He was a great RSS worker who was associated with Seva Bharati. He graced all events at the school with his presence and guided school administrators with his expertise.

Shri Dharam Dev Solanki, Ex. Member of Legislative Assembly, Palam, Delhi and Chief Secretary - BJP Kisan Morcha He keeps close contact with the school management committee and provides important guidance whenever required.

Shri Bhupendra Gupta, M.Com, MA(Economics), B.Ed. - Municipal Councillor, MCD, Rajanagar, Palam He is a great scholar and educationist. His interest in improving the education system of the region and active involvement in the school helps boost the morale of the management and students alike. His vast teaching experience reflects in his guidance, that helps the school take corrective measures, whenever required.

Shri Sat Prakash Rana - Ex. Member of Legislative Assembly, Bijwasan, Delhi He has been a pillar of support to the school and he closely guides the school board. He readily provides all sorts of administration support to the school at all times.
